AAL offers charter workboat services for a multitude of tasks and has a variety of vessels available dependant on the tasking requirements.
AAL has a long proven track record with the Royal New Zealand Navy conducting target-towing operations, personnel transfers, safety vessel operations, boarding operations, equipment trials and operations.
Historically AAL's vessels have been employed by the Department of Conservation (DoC), Ministry of Fisheries (MFish), National Rescue Co-ordination Centre (NRCC), Environment Bay of Plenty, Environment Waikato, University of Waikato, NIWA, Police and local Harbour Boards.
Charter services have undertaken a variety of tasks ranging from commercial diving operations to seismic research, harbour maintenance to deep water mooring services, pollution control to hydrographic survey, SAR operations to student thesis studies.
